Cruise ships are small floating cities which produce substantial amounts of waste. There is little regulatory control over how this waste is disposed, which can lead to significant impacts in environmentally sensitive areas.
Industrial Ecology of the Automobile: A Life Cycle Perspective
Abstract:
This project presents and analyzes major findings of the "Industrial Ecology of the Automobile" Seminar Series, conducted by the former National Pollution Prevention Center (NPPC) now the Center for Sustainable Systems, which brought together key stakeholders from the automotive industry, government, environmental organizations, and academia.
